About Me
Currently, I am a rising senior at ASU, loving every moment under the sunshine and palm trees. I'm in Barrett, the Honors College, while studying for my BA in Journalism and Mass Communication at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
I play for the Sun Devil Women's Lacrosse team in Tempe, fueling my passion for the sport. Being a part of a team has taught me so much about collaborating with others in order to accomplish a common goal. In addition, being an athlete has given me a well-rounded experience in many essential skillsets, such as the importance of a good work ethic, communication skills, punctuality, and a competitive spirit. These are lessons that I will carry with me wherever I go.
I grew up in Southern California, where nourished a very active lifestyle. To this day, I am always finding ways to keep busy! In my spare time, I like to work out, read, and spend time with friends and family. I am passionate about writing, and I want to use that as my platform for empowering others.
Career Goals
In my time at Cronkite, I have gained valuable experience in the fields of journalism and public relations. I believe my love for creativity, collaboration, and hard work will allow me to find great success in this role.
I will graduate in December 2022 with my bachelor's degree. As I am eager to further strengthen my skills, I plan to add a masters in mass communication with a focus in public relations.
Upon entering the work force, I plan to kick start a full-time career in strategic communications. I'm eager to learn more about this industry and to explore its different fields until I find the perfect fit. One of my greatest ambitions is to work somewhere where I truly lovely my job.
